Carol Roberts

With diplomas in music teaching, secretarial studies, community cultural development and a TAFE CIV in tour managing and guiding, Carol has had a varied and interesting career. She studied advanced theory with the late Dulcie Holland and performance with Professor Edward Barry Gibbons of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and is passionate about maintaining her skills in piano, pipe organ, theory and musicianship. In addition to running a successful piano and theory teaching studio, Carol worked in administration for the Department of Defence and Hawkesbury City Council for a number of years.

With an interest in all forms of cultural and artistic expression, Carol was a member of the Community Curatorium planning the content of Agri/Culture: Re-creating the Living Landscape, the opening exhibition at Hawkesbury Regional Gallery in June 2005. Currently completing the Licentiate Diploma in Theory, Carol is also relief organist at St Matthew’s Anglican Church and the Uniting Church in Windsor.
