Rochelle is a highly qualified and experienced music teacher both in the classroom and in private practice. For more than two decades, Rochelle has taught preschool, primary, secondary and tertiary students, including those with learning difficulties plus the gifted and talented. She is therefore able to cater to students of a variety of ages and stages at her studio.
A holistic approach to learning music means that students develop strong musicality supported by a commitment to effective practice and active revision. Rochelle is able to assist her students with exam preparation, school assessments and performance events. She takes pride in using her passion for music to inspire her students to give of their best in every lesson so they can realise their own musical goals.
Studio 38 is the new location for Rochelle’s private practice offering piano lessons, theory tuition and educational music tutoring.
A new series of school holiday workshops on Saturdays is also being developed for students who want to experience learning music for the first time or to deepen their current skills.
Rochelle engages in regular professional development through the NSW MTA, school based courses and online learning. She also gives of her time to local volunteer organisations which often benefit from her musical and educational expertise.
