The Studio
The Studio is the Association’s magazine that is published quarterly in February, May, August and November of each year, and encompasses both studio notes and articles of interest for the professional development of music teachers.
The Studio keeps members informed about upcoming events organised by the MTA and other relevant organisations.
Members are always invited to contribute.
As a member you receive this as part of your annual subscription.

It is distributed to private music teachers and various libraries and interested organisations in Australia.

Directory of Accredited Private Music Teachers
An annual publication, which is distributed to accredited private music teachers in NSW, all major NSW Libraries, selected schools and educational institutions, conservatoriums, along with selected retail outlets. It is made available to individuals and organisations seeking accredited private music teachers.

Aural Tests for all Grades of Practical Examinations
This book was commissioned by the Music Teachers Association of NSW and was written by the late Dr Miriam Hyde. It is suitable for teachers preparing students for AMEB examinations at all grades, from Preliminary to Licentiate.
It is available by mail order through the MTA for $18.50, including postage.
