Lynette Morgan
Lyn started her musical education in Victoria and- upon moving to NSW- studied with Raymond Fisher- Nea de Mestre and Nancy Salas- at the Conservatorium of Music and the University of Sydney from where she graduated in Music and French. She has a large teaching practice and is also in constant demand as an adjudicator- consultant and performer. She is a Senior Examiner in Piano and has a wealth of experience teaching at all levels. Her students have often gone on to musical careers- and she has been particularly suuccessful in preparing candidates for the TMusA and other Diplomas as well as for the HSC.
As an adjudicator Lyn has wide experience at Eisteddfodau and Music Festivals throughout NSW and the ACT- and she has also conducted many Masterclasses for various organisations. Fellow teachers and examiners often send students to her for appraisal.
Her performing profile is well-known- with accompanying experience dating from her childhood when she worked with her violinist father. She specializes as a chamber musician and accompanist working with many instrumentalists and vocalists- often being called upon to sight-read difficult works.
As well as her musical involvement- Lyn enjoys life with her husband - 3 children and Boxer dog- and has a passion for languages- especially French and German- which stands her in good stead for her other hobby- travelling abroad.
